The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), through the EU-funded Bangsamoro Agri-Enterprise Program โ Creating Resilient, Enabling, and Sustainable Entrepreneurship through Collaboration, Empowerment, and Nurturing of Talent (EU BAEP-CRESCENT), proudly congratulates the farmers of the Municipality of Amai Manabilang for their participation in the upcoming Philippine Coffee Quality Competition (PCQC) on May 9โ11, 2025 at One Ayala, Makati City.
Four outstanding coffee growersโNestor, Elma, Rogelio, and Rodelโhave successfully submitted their entries to the prestigious competition, showcasing the rich potential of coffee production in the Bangsamoro region. Their involvement in the PCQC reflects the dedication, skill, and passion of smallholder farmers who continue to work tirelessly to elevate the quality of Philippine coffee.
The ECCP and the European Union in the Philippines are honored to support these farmers under the EU BAEP-CRESCENT initiative. Their journey from the highlands of Amai Manabilang to a national platform demonstrates the impact of sustained capacity-building and value chain development in empowering local agricultural communities.
EU BAEP-CRESCENT is a European Union-funded project under the Bangsamoro Agri-Enterprise Program (BAEP), implemented by ECCP. The program is committed to promoting a peaceful, cohesive, secure, and inclusively developed Bangsamoro through the advancement of rural development and the strengthening of local agricultural value chains. By providing technical assistance, market linkages, and training support, EU BAEP-CRESCENT aims to boost productivity and income opportunities for rural enterprises in the region.
